Gary King has over 30 years experience in oil and gas exploration, development and management. Before establishing Greenbriar Resources, he worked for Texaco where he was the Midcontinent District Geologist, for Hunt Energy Corporation where he was a senior geologist, and for Universal Resources Corporation where he was the General Manager of the Midcontinent Division.
Mr. King's diverse skills in earth sciences, petroleum economics, petrophysics, 2-D/3-D seismic interpretation, management, computer programming, database management, reservoir characterization, graphic arts, imaging and seminar development/instruction give Greenbriar Resources its competitive edge.
Mr. King is certified by the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) division of Professional Affairs and by the American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG). He is a member of the Oklahoma City Geological Society and Sigma Xi (The Scientific Research Society). He holds a B.S. degree (with honors) in Geology and an M.S. degree in Geology, both from West Virginia University.
